A Lion and a mouse
Once upon a time there was a lion who was living in a big area of a forest. He was more powerful and stronger than all other lions. So he was proud of himself. One day, a small mouse came to make friend with him. However he denied it and said “ I am the most powerful and the strongest one among all other animals in this forest. How can I make friends with a tiny creature like you. You are useless to me” He laughed at the mouse “ ha ha” and exclaimed loudly “ What a shame!” The mouse felt unhappy and sadly left him.
One day the lion was caught in a trap. He felt hungry and became weaker as he had been caught in it for several days. In such a situation he really needed someone’s help to unfasten the trap. Fortunately the mouse came to the spot and saw his situation and set him free by biting the trap with his sharp teeth.
He deeply thanked the mouse for the great help and apologized for ignoring the friendship before. Since at that time they became very good friends and realised the value of friendship.
