Rationalism

Rationalism
Modern philosophy introduce the Buddha as a rationalist, but reason that they give on this arguments are different from philosopher to philosopher. They have called the Buddha a rationalist for different reason.
{1} The Buddha is called a rationalist because he is against dogmatism.
{2} According to Budharcaryar the buddha is non-dogmatist because he would not like to accept anything dogmatic and accept only the knowledge that come not only through perception but also through the rational thinking
{3} Radhakrisna too says that the Buddha is a rationalist since the Buddha tried to explain the reality without spiritual revelation. but it is difficult to name the Buddha as rationalist or a non rationalist
Rationalism is used in philosophy in opposition to empiricism. Rationalism is used as a theory in which the truth can not be explained through the knowledge that we get from sense experience. It is difficult to clarify Buddhism as a rationalistic or an empirical teaching. In some sutras the Buddha denies that his argument are based on metaphysical basic and can be understood through rationalism. According to Mahar Sihanada Sutta of the Mijjhima Nikarya. The Buddha recommends only the doctrine which is empirically and experimentally verifiable. In the Sandaka Sutta of the Majjhma Nikarya the Buddha advices Ven.Ananda to that so far as anything can be.
According by reasoning {thou} you {hast} has. According by reasoning { S,N,I,66}. This is how that Takka has a limited value in Buddhism. In that Cula Kamma Vibhanga Sutta of the Majjhima Nikarya appear to be used rational argument in the disussioon of Kamma and Rebirth. {To describe Annica he has used rational argument} The Buddha asked the question what is the reason and cause for inequality among human being? The answer is {being inherit their Kamma, and kamma divides beings in respect of their high and low states.
Rebirth in Buddhism.
Rebirth in Buddhism is also described by the Buddha through his extra sensory perception. { It is not metaphysical experience} The Buddha explains his experience of rebirth in the Anguttara Nikarya. It is said that the deceased and the birth of being to be verified by one's own vision. {Extra sensory perception} According to Mahar Kama Vibhanga Sutta and Mahar Sihananda Sutta, the Buddha has experienced the rebirth of those who misconduct, those who reproach the innocent, hold false views born in decline state of decline.
{There are born in teh hell after the death}
{They are born in the hell after the death.}
